This Privacy Policy describes how the iOS app ChronoNano (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information. The App is designed to run entirely on your device. We do not collect, track, store, sell, or share your personal data on our servers.

What We Collect
We do not collect any personal information or analytics from your use of the App. Specifically, the App does not access or collect:
- Location data
- Contacts, Photos, Camera, or Microphone
- Health data, Calendars, Reminders
- Bluetooth or Local Network information
- Advertising identifiers or cross‑app tracking data
The App also does not include third‑party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social login.
On‑Device Data (Stored Locally)
The App stores the content you create—such as timers, countdowns, alarms (including their labels and scheduled times), captured timestamps, and your appearance/time format preferences—on your device only using Apple’s on‑device storage.
We do not have access to this data. If your device is backed up (e.g., via iCloud backup), Apple’s backup may include the App’s local data under your Apple ID. We do not control or access those backups.
You can delete data within the App (e.g., removing timers/alarms/sessions) or by uninstalling the App, which removes its local data from your device.
Notifications and Live Activities
The App can schedule local notifications for alarms and countdowns and may mark them as Time Sensitive so you are notified promptly. Notification content is generated on your device and is not sent to our servers.
The App may use a custom notification sound bundled with the App. This sound plays locally when a scheduled notification fires.
The App also supports Live Activities to display real‑time progress (e.g., running timers) on your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Live Activity content is rendered by the system on your device and is not transmitted to us.
You can manage notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings > Notifications.
Networking and External Links
The App itself does not transmit your data to our servers. The App may open external web pages (such as this Privacy Policy) using the system browser. Any external website you visit is governed by its own privacy policy.
Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided personal information within the App, please contact us so we can assist you.
Data Security
We design the App so your data stays on your device. Please keep your device software up to date and use a device passcode/biometrics to help protect your data.
Data Retention
Because we do not collect your data, we do not retain it on our servers. On‑device data persists until you delete it from within the App or uninstall the App.
Your Choices and Rights
- Manage Notifications: Control notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- Delete Data: Remove timers/alarms/sessions within the App, or uninstall the App to remove all local data.
If you contact us, we will use your message solely to respond to your inquiry.
International Data Transfers
We do not transfer your personal data because we do not collect it. Any data stored is on your device or in your personal device backups managed by Apple.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App or on our website.
